Fair Entries September 2009 : The first six pictures are the ones that I've decided to enter. The first two will be entered under computer manipulation. The second two will be the color entries and the third two will be the black and white entries.

Fair Entries September 2009

Chapman's Landing : We spent the afternoon yesterday, August 16, 2008, at Chapman's Landing. We had lunch overlooking the Potomac River. We had the entire park to ourselves. The main purpose was to tryout a 300mm super telephoto lens that I rented this week. Michael was able to get much clearer shots than I was, and Jane even got some good ones. I woke up this morning with sore muscles in my arms from holding the lens (it weighs 8 pounds). My most exciting shots were of an Osprey catching his lunch.
